Job Summary – We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various types of heavy equipment operation, mechanical knowledge particularly in construction settings. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our projects, requiring attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain machinery, including but not limited to loaders, backhoes, dozers, skid steers, compactors and water trucks.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites to execute tasks efficiently and safely.
• Build and assemble structures as required by project specifications.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other operators regarding equipment status and project progress. Experience
• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation or similar role in construction.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience operating various types of heavy machinery, including Caterpillar, Komatsu, Kubota and John Deere.
• A valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments.

Job Summary

ECG Site Services is seeking an experienced Utilities Pipe Layer to install underground utility systems, including water, sewer, and storm drainage. This role requires expertise in trenching, grading, and pipe installation while ensuring safety and efficiency on construction sites. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and knowledge of construction practices.

Responsibilities

  • Install, align, and seal underground pipes for water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.
  • Operate hand and power tools such as air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, and surveying equipment.
  • Dig trenches, set braces for excavation support, and follow trench safety guidelines.
  • Assist in identifying and exposing underground and overhead utilities before excavation.
  • Load, unload, haul, and hoist materials and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site, securing tools and materials daily to eliminate hazards.
  • Ensure proper material handling and storage.
  • Follow all safety procedures and report concerns to the Foreman, Superintendent, or Safety Director.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding project progress, challenges, and site conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with equipment operators and other crew members to complete projects efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Experience & Requirements

  • Experience as a Pipe Layer or utility laborer preferred.
  • Knowledge of underground utility installation, grading, and trenching techniques.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.

This role involves performing strenuous manual labor, assisting with excavation, trenching, and material handling, and maintaining job site safety. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual labor tasks, including digging trenches, grading, compacting soil, and assisting with underground utility installations.

Experience must include the ability to set RCP, HDPE and PVC pipe with all required bedding material. Must be experienced in managing crews and scheduling workflows.

Summary – In the role of Wet Earthwork Superintendent, you will oversee the management and execution of Earthwork construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will utilize your core skills in construction management and project scheduling to lead a team effectively. Your expertise in premium software like ProCore and Primavera P6 will enhance project efficiency, while your relevant skills in blueprint reading and quality control will ensure successful project outcomes. Join us to drive excellence in heavy equipment operation and Earthwork construction.
