SERVICES

AREAS OF SERVICE

ECG’S three disciplines allows the General contractor to be able to single source the first and most critical trade for every project.  The General contractor doesn’t need to spend precious time coordinating between subcontractors competing for project space.  The three disciplines also allows for multiple tradesman and equipment to be operating at the same time allowing ECG to better budget the project at competing costs.   Below are brief descriptions of a small amount of the services ECG provides.

Excavation

Every project begins with the first excavations. From precise site clearing and grubbing to deep excavations for below grade parking, the standards set by ECG Services begins every project in the right direction.

Moisture Conditioning

ECG'S crews are well versed in over excavation and moisture conditioning. ECG has unique methods to establish baselines of the optimum moisture of the clay soils prevalent in Texas. With the multiple options to condition the soils though moisture conditioning, water injection, or chemical injection. ECG'S expertise crosses all options.

Chemical Stabilization

Whether its expansive clays or silty sand, ECG has the expertise to chemically stabilize the subgrade. The process of stabilization is a tedious process with the utmost experience required to complete the task. ECG boast over 40 years of experience in stabilization experience.

We also provide the following services:

Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan

Erosion Control

Mass Grading

Cuts and Fills

Water and Chemical Injection

Select Fill Installation and Compaction

Deep Excavations

Dams and Levees

Mass Pour Concrete

Our experts understand the ins and outs of doing a mass pour. If not performed correctly, large-scale concrete pours can result in cracking, thermal stress, deleterious chemical reactions, reduced strength, and instability in variable temperatures. Our crew is knowledgeable about typical mass pour problems and leverage the latest industry information to mitigate risks.

Retaining Walls

Retaining walls are structures designed to restrain soil to a slope that it would not naturally keep to. They are often used in areas of terrain that possess an undesirable slope or in areas where the landscape needs to be shaped severely. Our experts are very well educated on the different types of retaining walls and, when and where each should be used.

Vertical & Shear Walls

Shear wall is a vertical element of a seismic force-resisting system that is designed to resist in-plane lateral forces, typically wind and seismic loads. Resists loads parallel to the plane of the wall. Collectors, also known as drag members, transfer the diaphragm shear to shear walls and other vertical elements of the seismic force-resisting system. Shear walls are typically light-framed or braced wooden walls with shear panels, reinforced concrete walls, reinforced masonry walls, or steel plates.

Elevated Slabs

It is important to have proper storm drainage in the areas where we frequently have flooding and heavy rains. The process of developing drainage systems requires a collaborative effort amongst project owners, design engineers, and storm drain contractors. ECG Site Services has the crew with the knowledge necessary to produce a valuable product that detour excess rain and groundwater to municipal systems and catch basins.

Concrete Pavement

Roads built today are constructed using asphalt and/or concrete. There are many phrases that relate to road construction setting out, earthworks, and paving. ECG Site Services is experienced in all phases of the road construction process. We have the crew with all the right skill sets needed. When needing a road paved you need a trusted partner that can get the job done right.

Tilt Walls

Tilt-Up or tilt-wall-slab is a construction method in which concrete elements (walls, columns, etc.) are formed horizontally on a concrete slab, cured, then “tilted” to a vertical position and braced into place until the remaining structural components ( such as roofs, intermediate floors, and walls) are secured.

We also provide the following services:

Foundations

Slabs On Ground

Suspended Slabs

Podium Slabs

Post Tension Slabs

Paving

Sanitary Sewer

Sanitary sewer is a type of sewer design that provides an enclosed and underground system designed to carry various types of sewage away from domestic and industrial locations. This type of system often works in tandem with other systems like storm drains that provide a means of eliminating excess water from city streets.

Electrical Duct Bank

Duct banks are groups of conduits designed to protect and consolidate cabling to and from buildings. In a duct bank, data and electrical cables are laid out within PVC conduits that are bundled together, these grouping of conduits are protected by concrete and metal casings.

Water Line Installation

Water pipelines are the lifeblood of our communities, ECG Site Services is an industry leader in water pipeline construction, with comprehensive planning and pipeline contractor services. We specialize in Commercial, industrial, institutional and municipal water installation systems.

Force Main

A Force Main is a pressurized sewer pipe that conveys wastewater in a situation where gravity sewage flow is not possible. Pumps or compressors push the sewage through the force main from lower to higher elevations or across landscapes where deep excavation is not feasible.

We also provide the following services:

Domestic Water

Waste Water

Storm Water

Outfall Structures
